Mikawa Country Club is a 6,688-yard, 18-hole golf course located in New City, Aichi Prefecture. Opened in 1998, the course was designed under the supervision of Teruo Sugihara and is suitable for beginners to advanced players. It is about 15 minutes drive from Toyokawa IC of Tomei Expressway and about 30 minutes drive from Hamamatsu-Inasa IC of New Tomei Expressway. The course is flat and surrounded by lush greenery. The course also boasts lush greenery and seasonal scenery that is pleasing to the eye. The course uses evergreen greens, so you can play on lush green fairways even in winter. Water and bunkers come into play on three of the four short holes, so you'll need to carefully determine where your ball lands to make an accurate shot. 3 is a straight, medium-length hole, but beware of the OB zone and the two-tiered green. The 18th is a long S-shaped course that slopes downhill in the middle with the fairway sandwiched between a pond and bunker in front of the green. The clubhouse has a cosy atmosphere and the restaurant's menu offers miso fried pork cutlet, a speciality of Aichi Prefecture.
