This is a hilly course with several streams running through the course and the holes are sewn together. Some of the holes are narrow, but the course was designed with cart traffic in mind, so the hole spacing has been adjusted and each hole is flat. The course sits on a plateau rising from Ishikari Bay, so how you deal with the wind is key to scoring. A small pole is erected 220 yards from the tee as a self-playing target, and there is a creek on the pole. The greens on the course are gently rolling and undulating, so aiming for the centre of the green should result in a good shot.
