This hilly course is surrounded by Karasu pine and birch trees, which are unique to Hokkaido. Although the fairways are short, the birch trees and ponds dotting the fairways add to the strategic nature of the course. Also known as the Benkei Course, the greens are undulating and challenging. On the other hand, the course has flat fairways and large greens, hence the name Yoshitsune Course.
