Course Introduction

Ryugasaki Country Club is one of the top 100 courses in Asia and one of the top 10 in Japan.Opened in 1958, the course was designed by Mr. Seiichi Inoue in his late 40's when he was most enthusiastic about course design and production, and has been called one of Seiichi Inoue's “most perfect masterpieces”.

It is a wooded course, 18 holes, par 72, 7047 yards. The entire course is surrounded by deep bunkers and dense forests, and is challenging with many bunkers and a high degree of difficulty. Since its opening, the course has hosted a number of open tournaments, including the 1967 Japan Open for Professional Golfers, the 1970 Kanto Golf Open, the 1992 Japan Golf Open, and the Japan Women's Golf Open in 1996 and 2014, among many other major tournaments.

Driving Route

Drive:

Tokiwa Expressway/Yatabe IC 19km

Ken-o Expressway/Amidashi IC 5km

Higashi-Kanto Expressway/Narita Interchange 31km

Get off at the Yatabe IC, take the Tsuchiura-Noda Line toward Tsuchiura, turn right at the Enokido intersection, enter the Ushiku Gakuen Line, and proceed to the track via Ushiku and Oshin. Another route is to take National Route 408 from Narita IC on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway.

JR Joban Line Sanuki Station (get off at JR Joban Line Sanuki Station)

Taxi:

Taxis depart daily from the East Exit of Sanuki Station.
