This is a hilly course where each hole is handcrafted to make the most of the natural surroundings, making it interesting and challenging, appealing to golfers of all levels. The way the course has been built makes it seem like it's not enough to hit the ball long with power, but that strategic thinking is required to do so. The fairways and greens are very undulating, and unless one is able to take a cautious, virtually mistake-free swing, three or more putts are possible. The course is very attractive but is more of a challenge for the more advanced golfer, especially as each of the four short holes is distinctive and representative of Higashi-Hirogano.
