Course Introduction

Built into the rugged landscape, Lofoten Links combines a wild and wonderful setting with a world-class golf course. The course is a stunning 18-hole golf course situated on Gemini Island in the Lofoten Islands. The course sits next to the sea and has great views to the north, with stunning views of the Midnight Sun in the summer months (late May to mid-July) and the Northern Lights from late August to mid-April.

The course is situated on the seafront, with water hazards that border the ocean on several holes and natural bunkers that border the beach on others. The signature hole is the 140-metre No. 2, where the two-tiered green sits on a small rocky outcrop and is fronted by a solitary bunker. On the back nine, the 430-metre 16th is the longest and toughest par four on the course. After a blind tee shot from the back marker, the hole slopes downhill and the fairway narrows significantly towards the entrance where the long, exposed green is located.
