Course Introduction
The National Golf Club is Australia's largest privately owned golf club and is located in two locations, Frankston North City Centre and Skunk Point on the dramatically undulating and beautifully sandy waterfront strip of Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. The club has a choice of three courses, the Old Course, the Gunnamatta Course (formerly known as the Ocean Course) and the Murnagh Course. All three pitches are ranked in the Australian Top 50.
The Moonah Course, named after the ancient native coastal Moonah trees that line the entire site, requires strong tee shots and smart play, and is challenging from hole to hole. With meandering fairways and towering dunes, the par fives are a speciality, and the bold, precise shots are worth the effort. This is by far one of the most enjoyable Australian golf courses and one of the best in the country.
