Nature herself has created a superb setting for this 6,345-metre, par-72 mountain course, and set in rolling foothills of outstanding natural beauty which affords scenic vistas of the surrounding countryside from every hole. Members will experience a wide variety of interesting playing conditions.
The course, designed by acclaimed international golf course architects; Peter Thomson, Michael Wolveridge and Ross Perret, provides two distinctive “nines” starting and finishing at the clubhouse. The architects, whose pedigree include such courses as the New Course, St. Andrews, Scotland; The Royal Hongkong Golf Club; and the Bali Handara Country Club, has skilfully incorporated Finna's grounds and natural features into their design to create a golf experience to rival the best in the world. Many historical features scattered pot bunkers and the omni-present clumps of lemongrass that guard the edge of the fairways.
Thereafter, a cleanly struck wedge to a large green, nestled in between mounds and hollows and jealously guarded by a
necklace of bunkers, should provide a birdie opportunity if you are lucky. Hole 5, for example, a Par 3 has true Indonesian flavour, with views of the countryside and Mt. Penanggungan.
