The Legacy Crystal Bay Golf Club

Described as a Hawaiian style course with palm tree lined holes, Crystal Bay has good tee boxes, lush fairways and fair greens. The Pattaya golf course is a straight forward 27-hole layout comprises three nine-hole golf courses which vary in elevation and hazards. The course is a mixture of styled fairways with an occasional links-type hole. Water is omnipresent, mostly bordering fairways though some waterways do require a carry over water onto the green. Bunkers play an integral role in determining play, making precision shots imperative.

Crystal Bay Golf Club is a very popular and relatively easy golf course about 30 minutes outside Pattaya in gently rolling terrain with plenty of opportunity for good scoring.  Generally in good condition but can get very crowded at weekends so best played midweek.  The palm trees which line many of the fairways give it a distinctly Hawaiian flavour.

Providing the wind is not blowing then you should expect to score well as the course plays quite short although you will need to negotiate the ever-present water hazards and well placed bunkers if you want to shoot your handicap.

This Pattaya golf club is a pretty classic 27-hole layout of three nines which are all pretty similar with a mixture of classic parkland holes and others which are more links-style.  Plenty of water bordering some of the fairways and some which block your approach to the green plus the usual sprinkling of bunkers to make sure you don’t stray offline.

Between Pattaya and Chonburi on the way to Bangkok, 45 minutes from Pattaya or 1.5 hours from Bangkok.
