Qibugou Scenic Ski Resort was invested by Qibugou Tourism Development Co., Ltd., Wu'an City, Hebei Province. It was proposed after a comprehensive investigation of Qibugou Scenic Spot by Hebei Geographical Research Institute and Hebei Tourism Development Research Institute in July 2009 The plan for building a ski resort in Qibugou Scenic Area was approved in February 2010. After more than two years of design and construction, it has begun to take shape.
The ski resort is located in the southeast of Qibugou Scenic Area. It covers an area of 150,000 square meters and has a total investment of 40 million yuan. It is the first ski resort in southern Hebei. The ski resort’s snow storage time lasts for more than 120 days, and the huge artificial snowmaking system covers every piste, giving Qibugou Ski Resort more advantages of good snow quality, large snow volume and long snow period. The ski resort has international standard intermediate ski trails, 1 primary ski trail, 1 UFO ski trail and children’s recreation area. It has internationally advanced snow making and snow pressing equipment and internationally renowned brand ski equipment. The daily reception capacity is up to 1000 people.
The 2000 square meter ski reception hall is equipped with a ski room, a coffee shop, a fast food restaurant, a snow shop, a medical emergency room, and a ski school. Visitors can experience the novelty and excitement of snow sports under the guidance of a ski instructor.
