West Changqing covers an area of about 10 square kilometers. Its main attractions include Deming Ancient Town, Liuxian Valley, etc.

The ice and snow town mainly includes outdoor ski resorts, indoor ice and snow halls, Tuscany-style shopping streets and resort hotels. It is the nearest ice and snow sports base in the provincial capital, which can meet the skiing needs of ice and snow sports enthusiasts of all ages and different technical levels. It covers a total area of 300 acres with an investment of 200 million yuan. The outdoor ski resort has invested 60 million yuan, equipped with high, middle, and elementary ski trails, ropeways, tows, magic carpets and other facilities and equipment. The ski trails are more than 2,000 meters long and have been developed by the end of 2013. The indoor ice and snow pavilion, Tuscany-style shopping street and resort hotel are currently under construction and are scheduled to be put into operation by the end of 2014.
