● Royal Burgess Golf Club
Royal Burgess is a real treat for golfers of all abilities. The course is set in beautiful parkland and it's hard to imagine being so close to Edinburgh city center. The fairways are lined with lush greenery, including some fine specimen trees, and the course is cleverly laid out to be both challenging and rewarding. Accurate driving and deft putting are essential requirements to score well on our outstanding greens. Arguably the most scenic hole is the 11th, a 348-yard downhill par 4 that spans an open mounded area and is crossed by a beautiful stone bridge.
● Kittocks Course
Originally opened in 2001 and designed by Bruce Devlin, the Kittocks Coastal Course has been upgraded to consist of 18 challenging holes set on a cliff top with spectacular views over the Eden Estuary and the North Sea. The Kittocks course takes full advantage of the undulating greens and rolling terrain along the coast. The course has four sets of tees and offers golf carts for golfers of all abilities.
● St. Andrews New Course
The New Course at Andrews is the second course to be built at St. Andrews after the Old Course, which is named in relation to the Old Course, and at over 100 years old, it is probably the oldest new course in the world. The new course was opened in April 1895 as a result of more and more golfers coming to St. Andrews from all over the world, putting enormous pressure on the original Old Course. In order to relieve the pressure on the old course, the Royal Classic Golf Club funded the construction of the new course.
● Gleneagles - PGA Centennial Course
The PGA Centennial Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, is a challenging course. A course with open views and stunning countryside, the PGA Centenary Course has been the venue for the European Tour's Johnnie Walker Championship. However, the PGA Centennial Course will be closed for the 2014 Ryder Cup - a testament to the importance of the Ryder Cup to the PGA Centennial Course.
Gleneagles - The King's Course
The King's Course is not a long course, totaling only 6,790 yards. But the short distance doesn't mean it's an easy course. The secret to conquering the King's Course is to choose the “best” club for each shot. Because this is a course of wind, long grass, poor visibility, and turreted greens - the conditions faced by the golfer are ever-changing. The most visually striking hole is the 178-yard par-3 5th, where players face a turreted green guarded by four shaped bunkers, and behind the green is a horrific area of long grass that can never be undone.
Gleneagles - Queen's Course
The Queen's Course has a more natural beauty to its landscape. The fairways, trees, long grass, and flora on both sides of the fairways are layered, and the most natural thing about this “lightly landscaped” setup is that it's like taking a stroll through your own backyard. This equally challenging and historic course has attracted many stars, including Seve Ballesteros, Greg Norman, Johnny Miller and Tom Watson. Sean Connery and Burt Lancaster have also been impressed by the Queen's Course.
Customer FAQ Inquiries:
1、Can I include the Old Course on this itinerary? Is it guaranteed that I can play the Old Course?
Arrangements can be made to draw the Old Course at an additional cost.
