Red Mountain Golf Club is owned and managed by MBK Public Co. Ltd. The company owns and operates two courses in Phuket – Red Mountain and its immediate neighbour, Loch Palm Golf Club, in addition to two courses in the Pathum Thani Province near Bangkok.

Red Mountain is more than just a great golf. A stunning garden of tropical trees, flowers and shrubs exhibit the most beautiful and vibrant flora of the area attracting Phuket’s colorful species of butterflies and birds. Ornithological trails introduce bird watchers to some of the region’s most spectacular and distinctive birds. 

Man’s legacy at the Tin Mine was a unique landscape for the magic of nature’s renewal and rejuvenation and a magnificent raw canvas for our course. Rare and beautiful forms of plants and wildlife; exotic ferns and wild orchids, Indian rhododendrons and nepenthes have flourished in the old mine landscape. Golfers will enjoy one of Phuket’s stunning virgin forests where ancient trees reach for the clouds and weird and wonderful wildlife create a cacophony of tropical jungle sounds.

Known locally as the most challenging course in Phuket and often voted amongst Thailand’s finest, the course is sculpted into the rugged rocky terrain left over from the old tin mine days and is both a scenic delight and a truly unique challenge. 

Things You Need To Know

All golfers must take a cart at Red Mountain. The course is not walkable for most people as there is considerable elevations and some distance between tees. The mandatory use of carts ensures speed of play for all golfers.As with all courses in Thailand, caddies are mandatory.

Golf at Red Mountain may take a little longer than usual given the topography of the land and the distance between some of the holes. In addition, we expect that many golfers will like to take photos of the spectacular scenery especially at the 16th and 17th holes. Whilst we encourage all golfers to enjoy the spectacular scenery a marshall is on course at all times and players are expected to complete their rounds in 4 ¼ hours.

Maximum group size is 4 golfers.All golfers must wear collared shirts and appropriate footwear. Shorts are encouraged. Hats are suggested.

We provide rain checks for any round that is rain affected. Please review the current Rain Check policy prior to play.

We suggest carrying an umbrella at all times as it provides cover from the sun and the seasonal Phuket showers. A rain cover for your bag is also suggested in rainy weather.
