Mission Hills Golf Club-BLACKSTONE COURSE

Course 1 is the crown jewel of the entire golf course - the Championship Course, which shuttles through a magnificent landscape composed of tall trees, dense jungles and large lakes and wetlands. The unique landform features of the course are the volcanic rock surface of the entire site and the surface soil that covers the rock layer transported from 25 miles away. The original terrain of the site has a large drop, and the designer paid great attention to "finding" the holes in the original terrain to minimize the amount of stone as much as possible, while retaining more beautiful lychee trees on site.

The volcanic rock base was considered an important factor in the design process, as these natural rocks can create irregular boundaries between grass and rock, making this place look different from most other courses. The original volcanic rock base and volcanic stone walls and village relics are interspersed and preserved in the course, forming a strong visual contrast and also recording the past. The beginning of the course is located in a relatively lush area with a wide range of fairway widths and a naturally wide green area that is conducive to viewing. The last few holes are arranged around a high center point.

The entire course is dominated by bunkers and black stone landscapes. It is difficult to find such a course elsewhere in the world. The total length of the course is 7,400 yards, which is fully capable of hosting major events.

Mission Hills Golf Club-SANDBELT TRAILS COURSE

The course is built based on the design inspiration of the courses in the Sandbelt area of Australia, which is famous for its powerful momentum. These courses are like the Royal Melbourne Club, Kingston Heath, Metropolitan Club, etc. The basic features are large-areas of sand surfaces. It is relatively high, the sand surface is relatively undulating, the bunker grass edges are relatively thick, and the height is significantly higher than the fairway grass and green surface. Some bunkers have a more formal shape and are surrounded by rounded grass edges. However, when it comes to the transition between the bunker edges and the surrounding native areas, natural irregular grass edges are used to connect them, which enhances the natural landscape. The green area of this kind of course is also relatively large, the green surface is undulating, and the tee box is square shaped.

The main tree species on the course are eucalyptus, which represents the characteristics of Australia. The original terrain of the course is gently undulating and sometimes relatively flat, so when shaping it, it covers enough grass planting area to make the playing width of the fairway wide enough and allow for a variety of playing options. Like other courses, although the course covers a large area, there is still a good distance between the green and the tee box that can be walked.

Designed by Mr. Neil Haworth, chief designer of the famous American N&H Golf Design Company, it is an 18-hole, 72-stroke, fully-lit international standard championship golf course. The design and layout of the golf course fully utilizes the original topography of the Luhuitou Peninsula. Each fairway has the characteristics of narrow fairways, large flat surfaces, and many large bunkers, with a strong sense of three-dimensionality.
