Kagosaka Golf Club

★A prestigious course with a view of Mt. Fuji that was fully upgraded in April 2021

Kagosaka Golf Club, which has been known as the famous resort golf club closest to Mt. Fuji since its opening in 1960, has completely renovated all facilities and merged into Fuji Kagosaka 36 Golf Club.

Kagosaka Course: The ancient red pine trees give a sense of history and create a grand and peaceful atmosphere. Although the course looks flat at first glance, the clever arrangement of trees and obstacles makes it difficult to get ahead at once. This course is widely popular among beginners to advanced golfers.

Fuji Course: This is a highland resort course with flat terrain and lush trees. The first 9 holes are full of energy and have sufficient distance, while the greens of the last 9 holes are technical and difficult. It is a well-conditioned course.

The greens of Mt. Fuji roll down from the slope, so it is very important to judge the slope. The 5th hole is the only way to play towards Mt. Fuji. Mount Fuji fascinates many people and you can enjoy beautiful scenery here.

Fuji International Golf Club Fuji Course

★36 holes to enjoy and the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji and nature

The Fuji Course is a relatively flat course divided by beautiful pine trees, where you can enjoy the dynamic swing towards Mt. Fuji. The first 9 holes have valleys and ponds, which are rich in changes; the back 9 holes are longer inside and the fairways are wide.

The course makes full use of natural deciduous trees, allowing you to enjoy the changes of the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. Although not as long as the Fuji Course, it is also a varied course with some ups and downs and bunkers. It is easy to OB, so accurate shots are required.

Taiheiyo Club Gotemba WEST

★At Gotemba West, you can enjoy a relaxing time

Mount Fuji and the course's layout of lakes and streams mean you may find yourself in unexpected traps, making for a challenging round of golf. This is a highly playable course that will allow you to deeply appreciate the joy of golf. The beautiful course is divided by evergreen fairways, cedars and cypresses, and you can enjoy it in a comfortable golf cart.

Gotemba Golf Course

★ Only 15 minutes from Gotemba IC, the dream of Japanese golf star Shiro Akaboshi is here

Gotemba Golf Course is 75 minutes from central Tokyo and only 15 minutes from Gotemba IC. The course was designed by Japanese golf star Shiro Akaboshi. The design concept of the course is "to allow players to challenge themselves according to their abilities".

The first par 5 hole is a downhill hole facing Suruga Bay, and Mount Fuji can be seen on the right. The layout of the course can be adjusted according to the ability of the players, which is very suitable for competition.

The 4805-yard ladies' tee is also very suitable for ladies, and the leaderboard on the GPS navigation system is very popular. The restaurant overlooks Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay and offers fresh and hearty local seasonal cuisine. The seasonal deep-fried mackerel is thick and juicy and very popular.

Higashi Fuji Country Club

★Fuji-filled with magnificent views

The course is full of movement with magnificent views of Mt. Fuji. The fairways are wide and lush with foliage on both sides. Many holes have gentle undulations that allow you to see the green all the way, so unless you drive hard off the tee, you'll struggle because the distance is too far. The greens are also large and easy to play, but the bunkers far from the greens can easily ruin distance control.

Rembrandt Golf Club Gotemba

★When the weather is fine, you can enjoy the changing beauty of the four seasons and the magnificence of Mt. Fuji. Enjoy the fun of golf.

The Fuji Course (first 9 holes) and Suruga Course (last 9 holes) are located in a hilly area at an altitude of 400 meters, but both are flat courses with small ups and downs. The latest GPS navigation system and golf carts allow you to play golf comfortably. The fairway is wide and the slope is gentle, so you can enjoy the fun of teeing off here. When the weather is fine, you can see Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay from almost every hole.

Fuji Country Club

★Opened in 1958. The oldest and most prestigious course in the Gotemba area

This is a handcrafted strategic course with a three-dimensional feel. The 13th hole, which has the largest elevation difference on the course, is a downhill hole towards Mt. Fuji. The height difference from the back of the fairway to the green is 57 meters (downhill). Other holes with height differences are: Hole 1, 45 meters (downhill); Hole 12, 39 meters (uphill); Hole 17, 33 meters (uphill).

The holes with the largest height difference 100 yards from the green are Hole 1, 10 meters (downhill), Hole 10 and Hole 17, 9 meters (uphill). Holes 2, 5, 6 and 9, as well as the inner holes 13 and 14, require aiming at a point when teeing off. These holes are extremely challenging and require high strategy skills.

All holes are flanked by large pine and cedar trees, which act as vertical obstacles and add to the difficulty.

Gotenba Tomei Golf Club

★The golf course at the foot of Mount Fuji offers different views in each season, and everyone from beginners to experienced golfers can enjoy their swings here.

It is about 7 kilometers from Tomei Gotemba IC (about 15 minutes by car). 16 of the 18 holes have views of Mount Fuji, and the course is flat with moderate undulations and generally short distances. However, the fairways are shaded by large trees and the greens are fast, which means that all players, young and old, from beginners to experienced players, can enjoy the course.

Bellevue Nagao Golf Club

★Easy-to-difficulty course. Focus on 1R and get good scores!

The only 18-hole all-round course in Shizuoka Prefecture. Starts at 7am and ends around noon (half-course 2 hours 20 minutes, 18 holes 4 hours 40 minutes). You can spend a meaningful day without getting stuck in traffic on the way home!

The course is relatively flat, but the entire fairway is undulating, and the landing point of each shot is different. Lakes, bunkers, and other obstacles are everywhere, so it requires both a sense of vertical distance and horizontal accuracy when teeing off. The key to scoring is to find an attack route that suits your distance. It’s addicting and the more you play, the more attracted you’ll be to this course! There is no formal dress code! Instead of worrying about what to wear, worry about course strategy.

Fujinomori Golf Club

★Golf is always a must-do sport in life

This is a strategically designed golf course that makes full use of the natural terrain, with a view of Mount Fuji from every hole.

Odawara Golf Club Nichido Gotemba Course

★The best direction to hit the ball is Mt. Fuji

The distance is slightly shorter, and the course is uneven and hilly. The course has natural ups and downs, and many holes have to cross valleys and lakes, which requires a lot of courage. There are also ups and downs, and each hole is full of changes. The route is longer, and it is a gentle downhill from the first hole. For example, the location of the water hazard on the 17th hole is more difficult, and a strategic approach is required. The difficulty varies depending on the ridge. It can be said that this is a golf club that you will never get tired of, no matter how many times you play.

Fuji Heigen Golf Club

★Enjoy the fun of playing sports on the flat and beautiful Fuji Plain and the silvery white Mt. Fuji

The Fuji Course is the longest of the three courses, with wide fairways, and the biggest charm is that you can swing the driver to your heart's content and express your passion.

Hakone Course Compared to the flat and dynamic Fuji Course, this 9-hole course is full of strategy. The course is long and there are some dogleg holes. This is a course that tests the skills of golfers.

The Tanzawa Course is a course that requires precise shots with many changes and short distances. If you pay attention to the timing when attacking and don't put too much pressure, you can expect to achieve good results.

Fuji Kogen Golf Course

★The perfect combination of the weathered pine forest and the golf course

Fuji Kogen Golf Course is a woodland course located at an altitude of 800 meters. Designed by professional golfer Asami Midori in the Showa era, the course layout is very strategic. The 3rd hole has a narrow fairway, which requires an accurate tee shot to hit a long distance, while the 6th hole is a straight downhill fairway where you can enjoy the fun of swinging. The 17th hole is located above the canyon. If you hit the ball above the canyon, it will be an over-long ball, so it puts a test on the accuracy of the shot.
